Winter Ski Ride – Winter sports app for Nokia Lumia WP8 smartphones
Nokia has released a new winter sports app “Winter Ski Ride” exclusively for Lumia Windows Phone 8 smartphones over Nokia Collection. The app contains lots of useful information for winter sports – like mountain statistics, maps, snow conditions, weather reports, Safety info, lessons on winter sports and more. The app also allows you to monitor your sporting activities, which you can compare and share with your friends through the app.
WINTER SKI RIDE is endorsed by Professional Ski Instructors of America. Beautiful ski run analytics, snow reports for thousands of resorts, zoomable resort maps, activity tracking, customizable goals, a social network, leaderboards and ski lessons by snow pros. The app includes many innovations, including speech, especially designed glove-friendly user interface for cold conditions and more.

- Snow Reports - click on snow reports and search thousands of resorts for the latest snow and powder information, number of open trails, lifts and mountain statistics.You can pin resorts to your start screen as live tiles. Resorts include zoomable maps.
