Nokia Place Tag app now available for Lumia WP8 smartphones (Beta)
Showcased in Mobile World Congress last month, Nokia has now released the beta version of its new geotagging postcard camera lens app “Place Tag” exclusively for Lumia Windows Phone 8 devices. The app combines Nokia’s unique capabilities in location and imaging, then adds location stamps to photos with relevant information about pictured places. Just take a picture, which is in turn geo tagged with your current GPS location, and then share it with your friends like a Digital Photo Postcards.
“Nokia Place Tag takes more than a photo. It reveals info about the places within your photo, such as museums and famous buildings, which you can then share as a postcard to your friends.

You can also use Place Tag to get interesting background info about the places tagged in the photo. And if you need directions, that’s also easily available too.”
